Math Fact Fluency Activities

We all know that kiddos learn best when they get to move around more during the day. They really need it!

If your kiddos are stuck inside or are getting a little wiggly, you may like a scoot activity to do during math. Here are my littles playing a superhero subtraction activity. It has been the perfect math fact fluency activity! They enjoy roaming the room scooting from desk to desk with these task cards and recording sheet. Gone are the days of flash cards and timed tests for math fact fluency. This is WAY more fun and engaging!

I used this as an around the room activity. Notice the blank boxes where she skipped around…The students have to hunt for the task cards a bit. They are placed around the room on tables, desks and taped up here and there.

You can grab that freebie {here} if you missed it!

Math Fact Fluency Activities

This math fluency activity is fun to do with a snowman theme!

I like this practice activity for two digit subtraction without regrouping. It’s a sweet theme for Valentine’s Day or any time of year!

Solving for a missing addend to higher sums can be tricky, and this activity provides regular practice for this math concept.

This one is the perfect fluency activity to go along with a penguin unit!

Don’t they look fun? Each one has 30 cards, a recording sheet and a self-checking answer key to keep in the tub. After the scoot activity, they can be used as any math task cards at a center or to use for your speedy finishers!

Hope you like them as much as my class does! If you do, just click on the pictures to see them at my store.

Happy teaching!
